Account Executive — DACH: Berlin Territory

Job Description

Cleverciti is reducing global emissions by deploying our smart parking solutions globally: eliminating unnecessary traffic and making parking more convenient for everyone. Our core products are AI and IoT-based parking guidance solutions for customers like cities, shopping malls, airports, and corporations. In addition to reducing emissions from unnecessary driving, we also add value to our clients by growing their revenues and improving their customer experience.

We are currently in a phase of rapid, global expansion and are looking for an experienced and highly-engaged Account Executive to join our sales team in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) region. Our global HQ is in Munich but you will work remotely within your territory. You will be part of an innovative, dynamic and international team with offices in Germany, US, and UK. Position Summary

As one of our Account Executives, you will be responsible for selling the Cleverciti solution in the territory and achieving company growth goals. Key target customers include large shopping malls, airports, corporate office parks, and cities. You are based in your home territory and travel regularly to visit clients and prospects. You will report to the VP Sales for EMEA, based in Munich.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Consult with prospects to understand their business goals and how Cleverciti can add value to their business
  • Deliver quality and tailored presentations of Cleverciti to prospects based on the prospects’ goals and priorities
  • Quickly understand and navigate the decision-making process within the prospect’s organization to rapidly close deals
  • Meet or exceed your monthly quota
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with key accounts and act as a single point of contact
  • Strive to continuously improve your sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices (including maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast in CRM)
  • Supplement your pipeline by completing lead generating activities including cold calls, emails, and social touches
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Sales Development Reps, and Project Managers

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success of 2-8 years as a quota-carrying B2B sales representative.
  • Experience selling to shopping malls, airports, large corporate clients, or cities is preferred.
  • Comfortable and confident engaging audiences and presenting remotely via web conferencing tools like Zoom
  • Experience selling technology solutions such as SaaS web applications, smart city solutions, or IOT products
  • Ability to speak with executive-level contacts and ask intelligent questions
  • Personal network of potential clients in the above areas is preferred
  • Ability to understand customer needs and match them with the possibilities of our solutions
  • Aggressive, passionate, and persistent closer, focused on delivering win-win solutions for clients
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Native German and strong English skills (our company language is English)
  • Flexibility and positive attitude – we are a small company and we move fast
  • Desire to travel frequently as needed for customer visits or internal meetings
