Cleverciti is reducing global emissions by deploying our smart parking solutions globally: eliminating unnecessary traffic and making parking more convenient for everyone. Our core products are AI and IoT-based parking guidance solutions for customers like cities, shopping malls, airports, and corporations. In addition to reducing emissions from unnecessary driving, we also add value to our clients by growing their revenues and improving their customer experience.

We are currently in a phase of rapid, global expansion and are looking for an energetic and highly-engaged Sales Development Representative to join our sales team in Europe, based in our global headquarters: Munich, Germany. You will be part of an innovative, dynamic and international team with offices in Germany, US, and UK. Join us to help build the future and to do a job that matters!


Position Summary

As one of our Sales Development Representatives, you will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, generating new qualified leads, and scheduling meetings between each qualified lead and the appropriate Account Executive. Key target customers include large shopping malls, airports, corporate office parks, and cities. You will report to the VP Sales for EMEA, based in Munich.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Timely responses (usually within one business hour) to inbound leads from advertisements
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through phone, email, or social media
  • Researching each lead before outreach to understand their basic needs
    and ensure a well-informed conversation
  • Create relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Present product information to customers once you have identified their needs
  • Smoothly hand-off qualified leads to the appropriate Account Executive
    (schedule an initial meeting and ensure all background & qualification information is documented appropriately in CRM)
  • Following-up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase
  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to ensure the company’s goals and targets are met.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional telephone and email etiquette
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamworking, and customer service skills
  • Ability to speak with executive-level contacts and ask intelligent questions
  • Comfortable and confident engaging audiences and presenting remotely via web conferencing tools like Zoom
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, cold-calling, or inbound lead management role is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Good time management and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts about Cleverciti solutions
  • Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Fluent in German and English; other European languages preferred (our company language is English)
  • Flexibility and positive attitude – we are a small company and we move fast
  • Occasional travel for customer visits or internal meetings as required
