Dr. Günther Picker
Dr. Günther Picker is responsible for Partnerships and Business Development at Cleverciti leveraging more than 20 years of experience in building partnerships and innovations in the digital sector. Günther grows the Cleverciti partner network in EMEA to drive sales and to offer comprehensive products and services. In parallel he leads the go-to-market strategy of our new products including the development of use cases and business models.
During his leadership career Günther has held senior-level roles at well-known international and German brands such as Premiere/Sky, Sony and Yahoo. He has built businesses in subscription-based media, the Internet, and now the Internet of Things.
Common ground in all his positions was growing the business by developing and managing sales and product partnerships, being customer centric and innovative. He developed and launched several new TV channels, including the first HDTV offers in the German market.
Günther comes from Yahoo, where he served in an executive role as EMEA Head of Portals and Verticals across six countries, defining and executing the EMEA strategy within a global context. Günther holds Master and Doctorate degrees in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich.
